"O" Watch, Issey Miyake

The "O" watch, released in 2011 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the ISSEY MIYAKE Watch Project, is a study in minimalism and transparency. Designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, the concept behind it was to capture the fluid, ever-changing nature of water—something formless, yet powerful.

Made with lightweight transparent materials, the watch is almost weightless, coming in at just 25g. Its bangle-style form makes it feel less like a traditional watch and more like a wearable piece of art. The design is simple yet striking, offering a subtle commentary on the connection between time, light, and form.
